Patna, July 18 -- Bihar Minister Pramod Chandravanshi today asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to retain the Bankipur Assembly seat and claimed that Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor faces the possibility of forfeiting his election deposit in the upcoming by-election.
After three former Jan Suraaj leaders Avinash Pratap Rudhi, Ruby Gupta, and Ruby Singh joined the BJP at the party's state headquarters in Patna, Chandravanshi told media persons here that a steady stream of leaders was leaving Jan Suraaj to join the BJP, indicating that the fledgling party could become significantly weaker by the time the Bankipur election is held on July 30.
