Shimla, Aug. 22 -- BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma has expressed strong displeasure over being summoned by the Vigilance department for questioning during the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly and has submitted a privilege breach notice against police officials.

Sharma submitted a letter in this regard to Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Saturday, seeking appropriate action against the officials concerned.

The BJP legislator alleged that he was summoned by the Vigilance department for questioning while the Assembly was in session.

He termed the action as mental harassment and contended that summoning an elected legislator during the proceedings of the House amounted to a violation of his privileges.
