Lucknow/ Varanasi, June 10 -- The Uttar Pradesh BJP organised special events across the state on Wednesday to mark the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 12th year in office.

In Lucknow, party leaders offered prayers at the Shri Hanuman Setu Temple and Shri Buddheshwar Temple, praying for the success of PM Modi's long tenure and for the nation's progress.

BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary visited the Shri Hanuman Setu Temple and performed the rituals. He said that under PM Modi's leadership, India has established a new identity on the global stage and that welfare schemes for the poor have reached the last person.

He prayed to Lord Hanuman for the country's continued progress and the PM's good health.
