Hyderabad, July 23 -- The Telangana BJP on Thursday launched a statewide agitation demanding the immediate release of pending fee reimbursement arrears, accusing the Congress government of neglecting students' welfare.
Kicking off the campaign, BJP state president N Ramchander Rao unveiled a poster titled "Feesula Bakaki - BJP Ladayi" (Fee Arrears - BJP Fight) at Nizam College, Basheerbagh. The campaign, spearheaded by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), aims to press the state government to clear the dues owed to students.
Addressing the gathering, Rao alleged that nearly 25 lakh students across Telangana were facing severe hardships due to the non-release of fee reimbursement arrears, putting their education and future at risk.
