Bengaluru, Aug. 22 -- The BJP and JD(S) are set to hold a meeting to decide their next course of action in their campaign seeking the resignation of Minister B Nagendra, after the Opposition protest disrupted the recent Assembly session for seven days.
The Opposition parties had jointly protested inside and outside both Houses from Monday to Friday, demanding Nagendra's resignation over the alleged Valmiki Corporation irregularities. They have maintained that they would not allow the House to function unless the Minister stepped down.
