Agartala, Oct. 28 -- The ruling BJP in Tripura held a high-level meeting to assess preparations for the upcoming urban local body elections and finalise the political campaign in line with directives from the party's central leadership.
The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, former Chief Minister and West Tripura Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb, Rajya Sabha Member Rajib Bhattacharjee, cabinet ministers, MLAs, and eminent party officials, BJP organisational general secretary for Assam and Tripura, Rabindra Raju, as well as the newly appointed Tripura in-charge, Mriganka Deo Barman.
