Mumbai, Aug. 18 -- The BJP on Tuesday hit back at Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut over his claim that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis would move to Delhi to join the union Cabinet, insisting that Fadnavis would remain in the state.
BJP spokesperson Navnath Ban dismissed Raut's remarks as yet another "false prediction" and said Fadnavis had the backing of the people of Maharashtra.
"No matter how much you (Sanjay Raut) wish, a cow will not die due to the curse of a crow, and your wish to send Fadnavis to Delhi will not be fulfilled," Ban said.
