Srinagar, July 2 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday said the filing of a chargesheet in the 1990 murder case of Kashmir Pandit nurse Sarla Bhat after 36 years marks a significant step towards justice, while asserting that all unresolved cases of terrorism-related killings in Jammu and Kashmir would also be investigated and taken to their logical conclusion.
Addressing a press conference, BJP chief spokesman J&K Sunil Sethi said Sarla Bhat, whom he described as a daughter of Kashmir and a symbol of the region's composite culture, had been denied justice for over three decades.
