Hyderabad, Sept. 12 -- BJP Telangana president N Ramchander Rao on Saturday demanded that the Congress government immediately clear the estimated Rs 15,000 crore fee reimbursement arrears owed to students and provide a clear timeline for their payment.
Addressing a media conference at the BJP state office, Rao said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's claim that the BJP had not raised the fee reimbursement issue during the previous BRS regime was incorrect. He said he had raised students' issues, including fee reimbursement and scholarships, in the Legislative Council on January 4, 2017.
