Patna, July 21 -- Accusing Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) leader Prashant Kishor of violating the prescribed election expenditure limit in the Bankipur Assembly by-election he is contesting, the BJP on Tuesday demanded the Election Commission (EC) for a fair probe into it.
A delegation of the BJP called on the EC officials here and submitted a memorandum alleging that Kishor had violated the prescribed election expenditure limit in the by-election, routed campaign spending through shell companies, and used fake social media accounts and bot networks to influence voters.
