Kolkata, July 27 -- A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari alleged that anti-national elements, operating under the guise of a students' movement, are active in the state, the BJP, to counter the separatist forces, conducted 'Tiranga Yatra' here on Monday.
The rally with banners, posters and national flags in hand and spearheaded by top BJP leaders like Agnimitra Paul, Tapas Roy, Sajal Ghosh and Tamaghna Ghosh was conducted from Sealdah to Esplanade and Jadavpur to Golpark.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, during a programme in Nandigram, said that certain anti-national forces, under the garb of a students' movement, were active during the Cockroach Party's recent movement in Esplanade on Friday.
