Hyderabad, May 4 -- The Telangana unit of the BJP on Monday performed a Bhoomi Puja at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, marking the formal preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public meeting scheduled on May 10.

The ceremony was led by BJP Telangana State President N. Ramchander Rao and attended by Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman, MPs Eatala Rajender and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, BJP Telangana State in-charge Abhay Patil, along with several senior leaders and party functionaries.

Addressing the media on the occasion, Ramchander Rao said elaborate arrangements are being made for the Prime Minister's visit, with the party expecting a turnout of over two lakh people, including party workers and members of the public. He noted that BJP ...
