Hyderabad, May 25 -- Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday accused the BJP-led Central Government of deceiving farmers while burdening the public with rising petrol and diesel prices.
In a video statement, the Minister alleged that the BJP's "Rythu Ghosa - BJP Bharosa" tours were merely political drama aimed at diverting attention from real issues affecting farmers.
He said the Centre should first reduce petrol and diesel prices if it was genuinely concerned about the welfare of farmers in Telangana.
