Ranchi, June 6 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin arrived in Ranchi on Saturday on a two-day visit to Jharkhand, and described the state capital as his "second home".

Speaking to reporters after paying tributes to tribal icon Birsa Munda at Birsa Chowk, Nabin said Ranchi held a special place in his life as it was his birthplace and the city where he received his education.

"I bow before Bhagwan Birsa Munda. This land is special for me because it is my birthplace. It is my second home," he said.

Nabin was received at Birsa Munda Airport by BJP state president Aditya Sahu and other senior party leaders. Party workers also accorded him a warm welcome.
