Ranchi, June 30 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday accused the Jharkhand government of adopting an "English mindset" in its handling of Hul Diwas arrangements at Bhognadih in Sahibganj district, alleging unnecessary administrative restrictions on people visiting the historic site.

Addressing reporters after paying tributes to Hul heroes Sido, Kanhu, Chand, Bhairav, Phulo and Jhano, BJP state president Aditya Sahu questioned the alleged requirement for visitors to obtain permission and execute bonds before offering tributes at Bhognadih.
