Bengaluru, June 22 -- : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government in Karnataka, alleging irregularities in the formation and functioning of newly constituted "guarantee committees" at the gram panchayat level.
Leader of Opposition R Ashok claimed in the Legislative Assembly that the committees were being misused to accommodate disgruntled party workers and leaders using public funds, instead of serving citizens.
