Bengaluru, March 25 -- BJP state president and MLA Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Wednesday slammed the Karnataka government for what he described as political interference in the education sector, after it cancelled a three-day academic conference on RSS ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya's philosophy at the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in Mysuru.
Speaking to media representatives, Vijayendra alleged that the government's sudden decision to cancel the conference, titled "Ekatma Manava Darshan - Bharat's Worldview," was an example of "politics of hatred" obstructing academic discourse.
