Warangal (Telangana), June 29 -- BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Monday asserted that the BJP is the only credible alternative in Telangana and called upon party workers to work towards establishing a "double-engine government" in the state in the 2028 Assembly elections.
Addressing the Warangal district booth presidents' meeting, Nabin said the BJP shared a historic bond with Telangana and had supported the state's formation, recalling the role played by late BJP leader Sushma Swaraj in Parliament.
He alleged that the aspirations of the people remained unfulfilled due to dynastic politics and corruption under successive BRS and Congress governments.
