Mandi, May 9 -- The BJP stepped up its attack on the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, accusing it of pushing the state towards economic crisis, administrative disorder and stalled development during the last three-and-a-half years.

The criticism was made during a large BJP workers' convention organised at Vipasha Sadan in Mandi on Saturday, where BJP national vice-president Saudan Singh alleged that the Congress regime led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had failed to fulfil its election promises and weakened the state's financial condition.
