Nirmal (Telangana), Nov. 3 -- BJP Telangana President N Ramchander Rao on Tuesday accused the Congress of misleading people through its 'vote chori' campaign and alleged that the party was attempting to destabilise the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.

Addressing a public meeting after the BJP's Maha Padayatra in Nirmal, organised under the slogan 'Save Democracy - Remove Anarchy', Rao made sarcastic remarks against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that the former had lost his political judgment while the latter had appropriated the Gandhi surname.

He accused the Congress of corruption and claimed that the party had looted Rs 12 lakh crore during its previous tenure at the Centre.
