Ranchi, March 31 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday accused the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) of adopting "double standards" by criticising governance while being part of the ruling alliance in the state.

Addressing a press conference, BJP state spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo said Congress leaders had recently raised concerns over law and order, policing, education and women's safety in Jharkhand.

He questioned why the Congress continued in the government despite its criticism of governance, and alleged that the party was "enjoying power" while raising issues against the same administration.
