Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Saturday expressed serious concern over what it described as the deteriorating functioning of Odisha's Revenue and Disaster Management Department under the BJP government.
Alleging a decline in governance standards, the party claimed that despite repeated assurances of transparency, efficiency and good administration, the department has witnessed administrative stagnation, allegations of corruption, delays in public service delivery and shortcomings in disaster management and relief distribution over the past two years.
