Bhubaneswar, Sept. 10 -- The Opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday questioned the Odisha government over the Rs 2.1 lakh crore investment proposals announced during Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's UAE visit, alleging that several of the projects may be a repetition of investments announced at the Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave in January 2025.
The BJD sought clarification from the BJP government on whether the projects covered by the latest Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) represented entirely new investments or included projects that had already been announced earlier.
