Bhubaneswar, July 15 -- The opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday raised serious concerns over the deletion of lakhs of names from Odisha's electoral rolls and demanded a simple, transparent, inclusive and easily accessible voter registration process across the state.
A BJD delegation, led by senior vice-president and former minister Debi Prasad Mishra, met the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha, and submitted a memorandum highlighting complaints and objections reportedly received from political parties, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and members of the public across the state.
