Bhubaneswar, July 10 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the principal Opposition party in Odisha, on Friday lodged an FIR at the Capital Police Station against a social media page named 'Social Talk' for allegedly uploading AI-generated deepfake videos aimed at defaming BJD president and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik.
The complaint was filed by the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), the student wing of the party, seeking stringent legal action against those responsible for allegedly creating and circulating the manipulated content targeting Naveen Patnaik and former 5T Chairman V.K. Pandian.
