Hyderabad, July 27 -- BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, celebrated its 2026 Convocation on Sunday, conferring more than 1,500 degrees, including over 1,200 First Degree (FD), nearly 200 Higher Degree (HD), and more than 100 Ph.D. degrees.
Delivering the convocation address, BigBasket Co-founder Hari Menon urged graduates to build their careers on integrity, hard work, empathy and continuous learning, saying lasting success is built on character and the courage to learn from mistakes.
BITS Pilani Director In-Charge Prof. Dharmarajan Sriram encouraged the graduating students to remain lifelong learners, embrace challenges with confidence, and contribute towards building a more equitable, sustainable and technologically advanced future.
