Bird Flu outbreak in Nandurbar; 1.4 Lakh chickens to be culled
Nandurbar, May 1 ( UNI) A major bird flu outbreak has been detected at poultry farms in Navapur of Maharashtra's Nandurbar district, prompting authorities to order the culling of nearly 1.4 lakh chickens.The development has triggered concern among poultry farmers and district officials alike.Samples collected from three poultry farms were sent to a laboratory in Indore for testing, and all of them returned positive for bird flu.
