Patna, May 28 -- Bihar minister and senior Janata Dal (United) leader Madan Sahni today said strict action would be taken against those violating the prohibition law in the state.

During a public grievance hearing programme organised at the state office of Janata Dal (United) in Patna, Sahni said violators of the liquor prohibition law would not be spared under any circumstances.

He said continuous raids and legal action were being carried out against those involved in the illegal liquor trade, and the campaign would be intensified further.

Sahni alleged that the opposition was spreading misinformation regarding prohibition despite various surveys highlighting its positive impact.
