Patna, July 4 -- Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced on Saturday that 100 fast-track courts will be set up in Bihar to strengthen crime control and ensure speedy justice for the people. He said the new courts would accelerate the judicial process in the state and help curb crime more effectively.

Addressing the inaugural session of a state-level conference on the integrated implementation of the new criminal laws, he said, "This is a major step towards effective crime control and speedy justice.
