Patna, Nov. 1 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday said that 20 new sports complexes are being constructed across the state to provide better facilities to budding sporting talent and establish Bihar as a major destination for national and international sporting events.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 52nd National Junior Boys Kabaddi Championship-2026 at the Pataliputra Sports Complex here, the Chief Minister said Bihar would emerge as a prominent hub for national and international sporting competitions in the coming years. The championship, being held from November 1 to 4, is witnessing participation from teams representing various states across the country.
