Patna, May 27 -- Bihar Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh said on Wednesday that stadiums, district sports buildings, gymnasiums, and playgrounds across the state must not remain confined to construction alone, but should function actively and continuously for the benefit of athletes.
Chairing a comprehensive review meeting on departmental schemes and sports infrastructure, Singh stressed the need for effective operation, maintenance, and optimum utilization of sports assets created in the state.
The minister said the state government would promote operations of sports facilities through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support. She informed that the Sports Department would prepare detailed guidelines...
