Patna, May 26 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today announced that medical colleges in the state will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model through both greenfield and brownfield projects, aimed at strengthening medical education and healthcare services within the state.
While reviewing the progress of the Health Department, the Chief Minister emphasised improved healthcare delivery and directed officials to ensure quality treatment at the local level and minimize unnecessary patient referrals. He instructed that the new system be implemented across all district and sub-divisional hospitals by August 15, with District Magistrates tasked with regular monitoring.
