Patna, June 16 -- : Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha today announced a Rs 24 crore initiative to strengthen agricultural infrastructure in the state through the construction of 305 grain storage warehouses and 400 permanent threshing floors.

The project will be implemented during the 2026-27 financial year under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana and aims to provide farmers with safe storage facilities and improved marketing opportunities for their produce.

According to the minister, the proposed expenditure of Rs 24 crore includes Rs 14.40 crore as the central government's share and Rs 9.60 crore from the state government.
