Patna, Feb. 28 -- Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey today said that the state has been given a target to vaccinate 13 lakh adolescent girls against HPV this year.
Pandey said here that with the aim of protecting daughters from cervical cancer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nationwide HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer from Ajmer in Rajasthan during the day. He said that the campaign aims to vaccinate approximately 1.15 crore 14-year-old girls every year across all states and union Territories.
