Patna, Sept. 11 -- Bihar's traditional food products, including sattu and makhana, have received a prominent place on the global stage with their inclusion in the Welcome Kit presented at the BRICS Summit in Delhi, giving a major boost to the state's efforts to promote its indigenous products internationally.

Welcoming the recognition, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said on Friday that the inclusion of sattu and makhana in the BRICS Welcome Kit reflects the growing global acceptance of Bihar's traditional products and the state's rich cultural and entrepreneurial heritage.
