Patna, July 14 -- Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal on Tuesday directed officials to improve the performance of all 26 revenue circles (anchals) in Patna district, warning that strict action would be taken against those who fail to deliver better results.
Reviewing revenue administration in the district, the minister said here that the current performance of revenue services was unsatisfactory and required immediate improvement.
He stressed that there would be no "pick-and-choose" approach in disposing of cases, and that all matters must be decided strictly on merit, without yielding to recommendations or external pressure.
