Patna, April 28 -- Political tensions have escalated in Bihar following the killing of a food delivery agent, Pandav Kumar, allegedly by Delhi Police head constable Neeraj Kumar in Delhi's Jaffarpur Kalan village.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, also left Pandav's friend Krishna critically injured. He is currently battling for his life.
According to reports, the accused officer allegedly hurled caste- and region-based abuse, referring to the victims as "Bihari," before opening fire on them.
The derogatory language allegedly used by the Delhi Police constable has triggered widespread outrage and reignited a broader political debate over the safety, dignity, and treatment of migrant workers.
