Patna, May 13 -- Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) national president and Bihar's Minor Water Resources Minister Santosh Kumar Suman today urged people to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal on fuel conservation seriously, saying that in the current global scenario, saving energy is not just an economic necessity but also a national responsibility.
Suman said the Prime Minister's call to reduce fuel consumption and avoid unnecessary use of vehicles reflects a far-sighted approach. He noted that reducing the consumption of petrol and diesel would not only strengthen the country's energy security but also contribute significantly to environmental protection.
