Patna, May 24 -- The state's Cooperative Department has introduced new initiatives aimed at offering women better returns on savings and concessional loans to promote financial independence.
Official sources said here on Sunday that the schemes Nari Samriddhi Yojana and Nari Shakti Swarozgar Yojana have been launched to strengthen women's economic empowerment across Bihar.
Under the Nari Samriddhi Yojana, women will be able to safely deposit their savings in cooperative banks and receive higher returns compared to regular accounts. The scheme is designed to encourage savings and improve the financial stability of women.
