Aurangabad, May 25 -- The Bihar government today directed the authorities concerned to expedite work and ensure completion of the North Koel Canal Reservoir Project, originating from Jharkhand and entering Bihar at Tandwa of Nabinagar block in Aurangabad district, within the stipulated timeframe to provide irrigation benefits to farmers at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit reviewed the progress of the project and directed officials to ensure its timely completion. The review meeting was conducted via video conferencing with Aurangabad District Magistrate Abhilasha Sharma and officials of the Water Resources Department.
