Patna, Aug. 12 -- The Bihar Governor's Secretariat on Tuesday clarified that the appointment of Prof Binod Kumar Tripathi as Advisor was made fully in accordance with the applicable rules.
In a statement, the Governor's Secretariat said media reports claiming that Prof Tripathi's appointment was not in conformity with rules were "completely untrue, baseless and misleading."The Secretariat said the appointment was made under the relevant provisions of the Bihar Financial (Amendment) Rules, 2024. Rule 131-Z of the amended rules covers consultancy services, including expert, intellectual, training, and advisory services.
