Patna, Sept. 6 -- With river levels rising and the possibility of flooding looming over parts of Bihar, the state government and Disaster Management Department have intensified relief and rescue operations across the state.

According to the department, 110 community kitchens are currently operational in flood-affected areas, providing meals to around 1.98 lakh people so far. One relief camp has also been opened for displaced people, where arrangements for accommodation, food and medical care have been made for 326 flood victims.
