Patna, Sept. 15 -- Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday described the loss of lives in the devastating floods in Bihar as "deeply tragic and heartbreaking" and expressed his condolences to the bereaved families.
Gandhi urged Congress workers in Bihar to extend all possible assistance to people affected by the floods.
He also appealed to the government and administration to undertake relief and rescue operations with full urgency and ensure that essential assistance reaches affected families at the earliest.
