Patna, Aug. 9 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday announced a comprehensive statewide campaign to raise awareness about organ and eye donation, stressing the need to create a culture of donation among people well before the time of death.
Speaking at the seventh state-level programme organised by the Dadhichi Dehdaan Samiti, Bihar, on the occasion of the fourth National Organ Donation Day and 12th International Organ Donation Day, Choudhary said organ donation was a symbol of humanity, compassion and responsibility towards life.
