Patna, June 23 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday announced that a grand park dedicated to the memory of Syama Prasad Mukherjee would be inaugurated and open for the public on his martyrdom day next year.

Addressing a tribute programme organised at the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party on the occasion of Mukherjee's death anniversary, Choudhary said the Jana Sangh founder's life, devoted to national interest, cultural pride and the vision of an integrated India, continues to inspire generations.

He said the country would always remember Mukherjee's service and sacrifice.
