Patna, May 4 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today announced ex-gratia compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of each killed in a road accident in Rohtas district.
The Chief Minister said here that the compensation amount will be disbursed from the Disaster Management Department. He added that necessary instructions have already been issued to the concerned officials to ensure prompt payment to the bereaved families.
Samrat Choudhary also directed authorities to ensure proper medical treatment for those injured in the accident and wished them a speedy recovery.
