Patna, Sept. 16 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and union Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday conducted aerial and ground inspections of flood-affected areas in the state and reviewed the relief and damage assessment measures.
The two leaders first conducted an aerial survey of flood-hit areas in Maner in Patna district and Dighwara in Saran district. They later visited Terasia and Saraipur villages under Terasia panchayat in Raghopur block of Vaishali district to assess the situation and crop damage.
During the ground inspection, Chouhan and Choudhary travelled by boat through the inundated areas and inspected submerged villages and damaged crops.
