Patna, May 20 -- The Bihar Cabinet today approved a series of important proposals, including strengthening of the Special Task Force (STF) to tackle left-wing extremism, expansion of international air connectivity, promotion of industrial investment, and development of infrastructure projects across the state.

Briefing mediapersons after the Cabinet meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat Department Arvind Kumar Chaudhary said here that approval has been granted to deputate 50 specially skilled police personnel in the STF for a maximum period of 15 years. These personnel have been identified on the basis of their expertise in intelligence gathering and prior experience.
