Patna, Aug. 19 -- The Bihar Cabinet on Wednesday approved a series of proposals aimed at strengthening the state's digital ecosystem, infrastructure, irrigation, agriculture and cooperative sectors, including amendments to the Bihar Social Media and Other Online Media Rules, 2026.
The cabinet meeting was held here under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.
The proposed amendments approved by the cabinet seek to make the promotion of government welfare schemes and programmes through social media, web portals and other online platforms more effective, transparent and result-oriented.
