Patna, April 13 -- On the eve of the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the Bihar BJP organised a "Deepotsav" (festival of lamps) on Monday evening at the Ambedkar statue located near the Patna High Court premises.
BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi, along with a large number of party office-bearers and workers, participated in the Deepotsav programme and lit lamps in front of the statue.
On this occasion, he said that celebrating the birth anniversary of the architect of the Constitution as a Deepotsav aims to raise awareness among people and spread the message of an egalitarian society, unity, and brotherhood.
